I portray what I see through how I feel. I am based in Sydney, Australia. I use film and print on paper. I develop my own films and make my own prints. I use Foma film and paper. I use D76 film developer. I am grateful to Chris Reid, owner and master exhibition printer of all things analogue in his Professional Lab, Blanco Negro. I exhibit when I can. I photograph people. Personal note….photography is everything to me, although humans are essentially alone in the world, they long to be connected to others. People want to have meaning in one another’s lives, but ultimately they must come to realize that they cannot depend on others for validation, and with that realisation they finally acknowledge and understand that they are fundamentally alone (Yalom, 1980). The result of this revelation is anxiety in the knowledge that our validation must come from within and not from others. thank heavens for photography…
